FALMOUTH — Megan Fortier scored three goals and Jayde Bazinet had two assists Saturday night to lead Falmouth to a 4-1 victory against Greely in a game between undefeated schoolgirl hockey teams at Family Ice Center.

Lucy Meyer also scored and Kirsten Mazur made 16 saves for Falmouth (4-0).

Etta Copenhagen scored for Greely (5-1), which hadn’t allowed a goal in its first five games. 

WINSLOW 2, YORK 2: Sarah Fowler scored twice for the Black Raiders (1-3-1), and Caroline Hird and Nicci Heroux answered for York at Dover, N.H.

BOYS’ HOCKEY

SCARBOROUGH 6, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Jack Rouselle and Ryan Johnson each had a goal and an assist as Scarborough won an opener at Saco.

Damian Ramsdell, Matt Henderson, Cam Loiselle and Ryan Baylor also scored for the Red Storm, who had two goals in each period.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER/POLAND 2, BONNY EAGLE 1: Evan Baggs scored both goals to give Gray-New Gloucester/Poland an overtime victory at Gorham.

The Scots took the lead in the second period on Josh Bagley’s unassisted goal. Baggs tied it eight second into the third period and added the winner at 7:10 of overtime. Both goal were unassisted.

KENNEBUNK 4, PORTLAND 2: Bryce Fraser and Charlie Merry each had a goal and an assist for the Rams at Portland.

Kennebunk took a 3-0 lead in the first 25 minutes on goals by Peter Gotlieb, Ned Richard and Fraser.

Portland pulled within one on a pair of goals by Zach Luce before Merry scored midway through the third.

Jon Gatti stopped 29 shots for the Bulldogs.

THORNTON ACADEMY 5, BIDDEFORD 1: C.J. Maksut and Nick Chen scored two goals each as Thornton Academy took a 5-0 lead and won at Biddeford.

Chen provided a short-handed goal 2:35 into the game. Thornton, which outshot the Tigers 29-12, scored four unanswered goals in the second period.

Nick Lemieux scored in the third period to avoid the shutout, assisted by Mario Lemieux and Wyatt LeBlond.

MASSABESIC/OOB 4, WINDHAM/SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Pat Wyman scored twice, and A.J. Gass and Chris Pierce each added one goal for Massabesic/Old Orchard Beach at Gorham.

Kasey Parks turned away 15 shots to earn the shutout.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

FOREST HILLS 55, VINALHAVEN 44: Evan Worster finished with 20 points and 14 rebounds, Brandon Ouellette added 16 points and Matt Turner had 15 to lead the Tigers (1-1) past the Vikings (1-1) at Jackman.

Dillon Ames led Vinalhaven with 15 points.

DIRIGO 67, BOOTHBAY REGION 52: Cody St. Germain scored 11 of his 22 points during a 22-16 run in the fourth quarter as Dirigo won an opener at Boothbay Harbor.

Caleb Turner added 13 points for the Cougars. Anthony DiMauro scored 18 and Ben Dickinson 10 for Boothbay.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 65, WISCASSET 36: Jacob Ther-iault scored 19 points to lead Mountain Valley in an opener at Wiscasset.

Isaac Roberts added 12 points and Zachary Radcliffe had 11 for the Falcons, who led 32-19 at the half.

Jordan Jones scored 10 points for the Redskins.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

CHEVERUS 68, BIDDEFORD 28: Alexandra Palazzi-Leahy scored 16 of her 25 points in the second quarter as the Stags used a 27-9 run to take a 41-14 lead in an opener at Portland.

Brooke Flaherty added seven points and 12 rebounds for Cheverus.

TRAIP ACADEMY 45, SACOPEE VALLEY 36: Alli Barrett scored eight of her 12 points in the first quarter as Traip Academy opened a 32-8 halftime lead against the Hawks in an opener at South Hiram.

The Rangers used a pressure defense to take an 11-2 first-quarter lead. Traip then outscored Sacopee 21-6 in the second quarter behind a combined 13 points from Selena Lorrey and Katherine Volpe.

Sacopee, with Cassandra Miner scoring nine of her 13 points and Danielle Pierce eight of her 10, rallied in the second half but was unable to get closer than eight points.

Volpe finished with 11 points and Lorrey had 10 for Traip.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 36, HEBRON ACADEMY 19: Charlotte Esancy scored 10 of her 12 points in the first half, including six during a 12-0 first quarter, and the Panthers (1-1) built a 33-7 halftime lead against the Lumberjacks (0-1) at Hebron.

Esancy also finished with 17 rebounds.

Olivia Brown led Hebron with eight points.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 34, PINE TREE ACADEMY 19: Suzanne Gonzalez scored eight points to lead Greater Portland Christian in an opener at Freeport.

The Lions opened a 4-1 lead in the first quarter and pulled steadily away, outscoring Pine Tree 10-4 and 12-8 in the middle periods.

RICHMOND 46, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 26: Jamie Plummer had 14 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks as Richmond won an opener at home.

Danica Hurley added eight points and seven assists, and Brianna Snedeker grabbed 11 rebounds for Richmond.

Ruth Towne had eight points to lead Seacoast Christian.
