Season of thanks

To the editor:

It is with great pleasure that I extend this thank you to all who participated in the Georgetown Central School Thanksgiving Food Drive.

We collected a truck full of food from the Bath Farmers Market, and couldn’t have done that without the generous donations of produce from the patrons of the market. The money that we collected was spent with the farmers.

Our students love to go and shop and meet everyone. Many thanks to Shaw’s of Bath for their generocity.

Last, but not least, thank you to the students, parents and faculty of Georgetown Central School for teamwork well done. Twenty-two baskets were distributed this holiday to local families.

Our community gives many thanks for your generocity and support.
