SOUTH BERWICK – Megan Niehoff scored 15 points, and Westbrook held Marshwood without a point in the second overtime to earn a 51-47 victory Friday night in a Southern Maine Activities Association girls’ basketball game.

Paige Baldwin and Ashlee Richards each added 10 points for Westbrook (4-3). The Blue Blazes scored seven of their nine overtime points on free throws.

Aubrey Folger had 13 points for Marshwood (6-3), including a basket at the regulation buzzer to tie it at 42. The Hawks were ranked No. 1 in Western Class A.

BONNY EAGLE 61, NOBLE 25: Caitlyn Hawxwell scored 12 points and Shannon Sanborn added 10 to lead the Scots (3-6) past the Knights (1-8) at Standish.

Nine players scored for the Scots, who knocked down seven 3-pointers and used full-court pressure to shut down the Knights.

GORHAM 50, MASSABESIC 38: The Rams (4-4), behind Kristin Ross’ eight points and Kiersten Turner’s defensive play, opened the second half with a 14-4 run to pull away from the Mustangs (2-6) at Gorham.

Ross finished with 19 points and 16 rebounds. Lexi Merrifield added 12 points.

Alexandra Braley’s 12 points led the Mustangs.

WINDHAM 66, PORTLAND 38: Meghan Gribbin scored a season-high 27 points to lead the Eagles (5-3) over the visiting Bulldogs (1-8).

Gribbin had 12 points in the second quarter, when the Eagles used a 27-9 run to open a 36-18 lead.

Lonnie Staten and Stephanie Frost had seven apiece for the Eagles.

Kristina Brown and Angie Reali each scored seven points for Portland.

LAKE REGION 52, WELLS 44: Tiana-Jo Carter and Kelsey Winslow each scored 12 points in the second half as the Lakers (8-0) beat the Warriors (5-3) at Wells.

Lake Region trailed 19-18 at halftime, but Carter and Winslow each scored three inside baskets in the third quarter to help the Lakers take a 36-29 lead.

Winslow finished with 19 points and Carter had 16. Sydney Hancock added 14, including six from the line.

Allison Furness tallied 17 points for Wells, and Jeni Wallingford scored 11.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 46, WAYNFLETE 44: Maggie McConkey scored 17 points, including the go-ahead free throw with two minutes left as the Raiders (2-6) beat the Flyers (4-3) at Portland.

Martha Veroneau scored 15 points for Waynflete, which led most of the game.

McConkey was 4 of 5 from the line in the fourth quarter. Kendra Fox also finished in double figures for Fryeburg with 13 points.

YORK 40, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 33: Andrea Mountford scored 10 points for the Wildcats (7-1), who took an 18-13 halftime lead and held off the Patriots (3-4) at York.

Emily Campbell chipped in nine points for York. Maria Valente scored 16 for Gray-New Gloucester.

GREELY 48, YARMOUTH 18: Haylee Munson scored 12 points as the Rangers (6-2) downed the Clippers (2-5) at Cumberland.

Greely went on a 19-4 run in the second quarter to open a 28-6 halftime advantage.

TRAIP ACADEMY 51, SACOPEE VALLEY 27: Selena Lorrey scored 24 of her 31 points in the first half, leading the Rangers (5-2) past the Hawks (1-6) at Kittery.

Lorrey accounted for all but two of Traip’s points in the first half.

Cassandra Miner scored 12 points for Sacopee.

MT. BLUE 58, BRUNSWICK 32: Gabby Foy scored 28 points and the Cougars (5-3) took control with a 12-0 run in the first half against the Dragons (3-5) at Farmington.

Melanie Bryant led Brunswick with 10 points, including 8 of 8 at the foul line.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 42, WATERVILLE 36: Alanna Vose scored 19 points and Medomak Valley (6-2) recovered from a slow first quarter against the Purple Panthers (3-5) at Waldoboro.

Vose also had eight assists. Mallory Conary added nine points, and Amanda Hendrickson-Belloguet finished with eight points and nine rebounds.

Ashleigh Gagne had 13 points and Lauren Crane added 12 for Waterville.

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 60, HEBRON ACADEMY 33: Ruth Towne scored all 24 of her points in the first half as Seacoast Christian (5-2) downed Hebron Academy (0-4) at South Berwick.

Kirin DeSmith finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and seven steals.

Olivia Brown led Hebron with 18 points.
