PHIPPSBURG — Do your children want to drive a dog sled, try snowshoeing or Nordic skiing, learn to track deer or bobcat in the snow, meet a falcon and its falconer? Try hiding from a bloodhound?
They can try all of these things this Sunday at the Phippsburg Sportsmen’s Association Winter Youth Field Day at the Sportsmen’s Associations Clubhouse and Outdoor Education Center on Main Road in Phippsburg.
Registration is at 9 a. m., and a small group of activities will begin shortly thereafter. Equipment will be provided or participants can bring their own. All children must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult.
Lunch will be provided. There is no charge for this event and activities generally conclude by 3 p.m.
