TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh grade boys basketball team defeated Oak Hill on Tuesday, 50-6.
Top scorers for the Eagles were Haven Cutco with 11 points and Elliott Bowie, Jimmy Pelletier and Gage Palmer with six each. Strong floor games were turned in by Kyle Brown, James Hutchinson and Cam Cox. Leading the way for Oak Hill were Ryan Hall, Adam Mooney and Evan Boston.
The Mt. Ararat eighthgraders prevailed 44-21 with quarterly leads of 10-4, 20-9 and 28-19.
Shy Ulrickson led the way with 19 points, while Alex LaFountain added nine and Max Bodmer seven, while Harper Moutal and Deamonte Stupinski played well for the 6-2 Eagles.
Jonah Martin scored 11 for Oak Hill and Dalton Therrien added seven.
