BREWER —The Mt. Ararat High School jayvee girls basketball team beat Brewer 39- 35 in recent action.

The 5-5 Eagles trailed 8-4 and 13- 11 at the quarter breaks, but forged into a 23-23 third-quarter tie.

Lyndsey Cornelison and Sierra Gilley scored 11 points each, while Olivia Swan, Katie Labbay and Kim Emerson played well.
