WESTBROOK – The Westbrook Little League will open registration for the 2011 season on Feb. 3 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Westbrook Little League clubhouse. There will be a second registration session on Feb. 4 from 9-11:30 a.m. in the Little League clubhouse.

Anyone who misses the first two sessions can register on Feb. 9 from 5:30-8 p.m. and again on Feb. 10 from 5:30-8 p.m., also at the Little League clubhouse.

There will be a “New Kids” clinic at the Westbrook Community Center on March 3 for all players trying out for the majors. Baseball players will go from 9-10:30 a.m. and softball will run from 10:30 a.m.-noon. Players should bring a glove and sneakers, cleats will not be allowed.

Little League tryouts will be held at the Westbrook Community Center on March 10 and 17. Times for both sessions are: 9-year-old baseball, 9-10 a.m.; 10-year-old baseball, 10-11 a.m.; 11-12-year-old baseball, 11 a.m.-noon; 9-year-old softball, noon-1 p.m.; 10-year-old softball, 1-2 p.m. and 11-12-year-old softball from 2-3 p.m. Players should bring a glove and sneakers, cleats will not be allowed.
