FREEPORT — Auditions for “Our Town,” by Thornton Wilder, are scheduled for 1 p.m. March 17 at the Freeport Factory Stage, 5 Depot St.
The company seeks experienced actors for a large ensemble cast. Younger actors (11 to 17 years) will be invited to read for certain roles. Auditions will consist of readings from the script.
Rehearsals begin in mid- April, and the production dates are June 7 to June 23 with a special performance on July 4.
Those wishing to audition must be available for all performances. Regular performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
Rehearsals are generally in the evening hours, but some weekend daytime rehearsals will be scheduled.
