Falmouth High School freshman Andy Clement makes final adjustments to his team’s wind turbine before its performance is measured March 16 at Davan Pool in Westbrook, where Falmouth students tested their wind power projects. They were looking for successful designs that would advance to the DeepCwind Consortium’s Windstorm Challenge. The challenge brings students together with businesses in the high-tech composites industry for a friendly competition that takes place in April at the University of Maine in Orono.
