BATH — Reflecting a “rain” theme for April the Dreamland Theater at the Winter Street Center will screen “Singin’ In The Rain” on Thursday and “Rain Man” on April 26.

“‘Singin’ in the Rain’ is a 1952 American comedy musical film starring Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor and Debbie Reynolds and directed by Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen, with Kelly also providing the choreography,” a Dreamland Theater release states. “It offers a lighthearted depiction of Hollywood, with the three stars portraying performers caught up in the transition from silent films to ‘talkies.’”

Cartoons, shorts and serials begin at 6 p.m. The feature film rolls at 7 p.m.

Suggested donation for admission is $5. Those who attend are invited to bring a box supper to eat during the show. Soft drinks, popcorn and candies are available at $1 each.

The Winter Street Center, 880 Washington St., is the home of Sagadahoc Preservation Inc. and serves, in part, as a community center.

The entire Dreamland Theater schedule can be found at www.sagadahocpreservation.org or on the Dreamland Theater Facebook page.
