HAMPTON, N.H. — Police officers and the public will be paying tribute to a New Hampshire police chief who was killed last week.

A wake is being held today at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home in Hampton for Greenland Police Chief Michael Maloney, who died when he and other officers were trying to serve a warrant at a Greenland home. Four other officers were injured.

Police are scheduled to attend the wake from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The public is invited from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A funeral service for Maloney is scheduled Thursday at Winnacunnet High School.
