Portland High School students watch, bottom photo, as Brett O’Kelly receives attention from a paramedic during a simulation of a drunken driving crash and its aftermath on Cumberland Avenue. The program was created by the school’s resource officer, Portland Police Officer Coreena Behnke, with the help of students Mary Roma and Samantha Walker.
