STETSON — Police say the body of a Stetson man who hadn’t been seen in several months has been found.

State police say a group of people collecting fiddleheads Saturday morning found the remains of 32-year-old Joshua Michaud.

The body is believed to have been there all winter.

Michaud’s body was taken to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta for an autopsy to determine a cause of death.

Police tell the Bangor Daily News at this point the death does not appear suspicious.

No evidence of any weapons was found at the scene.
