HARPSWELL — The Harpswell Heritage Land Trust will sponsor a free talk on Wednesday about the impact acidic mud has on clam harvests.
According to a press release, the group Friends of Casco Bay found increasing acid levels during recent surveys.
Mike Doan, a research associate with that group, will present details on that research and advice about how acidification can be curbed during a talk at the Harpswell Land Trust Community Room at 153 Harpswell Neck Road at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
