YARMOUTH – Tom Sullivan lined an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning to give Yarmouth a 9-8 win over Cape Elizabeth in a Western Maine Conference baseball game Monday.

After a Caleb Uhl single, Eamon Costello, who was 4 for 4 with four runs scored, moved Uhl into scoring position with a sacrifice bunt.

Bryce Snyder, who got the win in relief, went 3 for 4 with three RBI for Yarmouth (8-5).

Max Gore and Donald Clark each had two hits for Cape Elizabeth (6-7).

GREELY 8, WELLS 0: Jonah Normandeau took a no-hitter into the sixth inning as the Rangers (12-1) beat the Warriors (6-7) at Cumberland.

Normandeau stuck out nine, walked one, and allowed two hits.

Bailey Train homered in the first inning and had an RBI double in the fourth. Pete Stauber drove in three runs.

POLAND 3, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2: Jed Quint threw a five-hitter and Kaleb Bridgham and Dillon Douglass had two hits apiece as the Knights (6-7) edged the Patriots (7-6) at Poland.

Poland trailed 2-0 but tied the game with runs in the third and fourth innings and took the lead in the sixth.

Kyle Neilson scattered seven hits for Gray-New Gloucester.

WAYNFLETE 9, TRAIP ACADEMY 7: Luke Jeton had two hits and two RBI as the Flyers (8-3) defeated the Rangers (3-9) at Kittery.

Joey Schnier struck out seven and gave up four earned runs on six hits to earn the win.

Matt Clifford hit three doubles to pace Traip.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 13, SACOPEE VALLEY 4: Anthony Langella pitched a six-hitter with six strikeouts, and drove in three runs with a single and a triple as the Seagulls (4-8) beat the Hawks (2-9) at South Hiram.

Sean McDermott added a single and a double to help OOB overcome an early 4-2 deficit.

Brandon McCubrey and Brady Smith each had an RBI single for Sacopee.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 5, NOKOMIS 4: Isaac Greenrose tripled and drove in a pair of runs, and struck out five while pitching a six-hitter to lead the Panthers (5-7-1) over the Warriors (5-6) at Newport.

Brandon Soper tripled, doubled and scored two runs for Medomak, Ryan Merrifield had a pair of hits and drove in a run.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 3, LEAVITT 2: Jeff Cheney’s RBI single in the top of the sixth gave the Eagles (8-4-1) a win over the Hornets (7-6) at Turner.

Merritt Wotton had a two-run single for Lincoln.

Jake Irish hit an RBI double for Leavitt.

CONY 5, BRUNSWICK 1: Ryan Edwards struck out 11 and didn’t issue a walk to lead the Rams (9-5) past the Dragons (2-12) at Augusta.

Trent Anderson had a single and a double for Brunswick (2-12).

ERSKINE ACADEMY 5, MT. ARARAT 1: Shyler Scates struck out 10 and didn’t walk a batter to lead Erskine (9-4) to a win against Mt. Ararat (3-10) at South China.

WATERVILLE 13, OCEANSIDE 3: JT Whitten had two doubles and a single to lead the Purple Panthers (13-1) past the Mariners (7-7) at Waterville.


BRUNSWICK 19, OXFORD HILLS 4: Bailey Caparrato scored goals as the Dragons (10-0) handled the Vikings (1-9) at Brunswick.

Alex Croatti added three goals and two assists. Ryan Croatti and Winston Sullivan each scored twice.

Austin Chute netted three goals for Oxford Hills.
