As part of National Historic Preservation Month, the Brunswick Village Review Board has conducted its annual photo contest in May.

The theme of this year’s contest was “Brunswick’s Hidden Gems,” highlighting parts of the town’s built environment that are architecturally or historically important, even if their significance is not immediately obvious.

The winners were: first place, “Green Evolution,” by Patrick Donovan; second place, “Corner View,” by Darby Kelley; and third place, “Morning Glory,” by Julius Spaltro. In addition, two honorable mentions were given to high school students Harrison Brown for “Frosty’s,” and Brendan Glass for “Jenney Station.”

Honorable mention winners received an award certificate. The top three winners each received gift certificates as well as award certificates.
