FAIRFIELD — Police are searching for a man in connection with a robbery at Rite Aid Pharmacy on Main Street. The robbery took place at about 1 p.m. today.

For about an hour and a half, police searched areas of College Avenue and several officers with assault rifles were posted at a parking lot across from the Hutamaki facility.

Waterville Police Chief Joseph Massey, who was at the scene, said he would release more details this afternoon.
