OWLS HEAD, Maine — A Maine museum is celebrating America’s passion for cool cars with a show that focuses on hot rods, muscle cars and other hip automobiles.

The Owls Head Transportation Museum is continuing its annual Hot Rods, Customs, Muscle Cars and Antique Aeroplane Show today.

Museum Director Charles Chiarchiaro said the show features an assortment of vehicles from 1930s hot rods to 1970s muscle cars, plus many custom creations.

As part of the activities, the museum will give demonstrations of its automobiles from the turn of the 20th century and free rides in its Ford Model T’s. There’ll also be an antique airplane show.

The show begins at 9:30 a.m. Admission is $12 for adults, with children under 18 let in for free.
