PORTLAND — Motorists are being advised to avoid the outbound lanes on Washington Avenue, near its intersection with Ocean Avenue, tonight as crews continue to make gas line repairs.
Nicole Clegg, the city of Portland’s spokeswoman, said motorists who use the road should expect to encounter delays.
There is no timetable on when those repairs might be finished. Drivers should seek alternative routes, Clegg said.
