FARMINGTON, N.H. — A 19-month-old boy has been reunited with his parents after he disappeared from a campsite in the woods in New Hampshire.

Liam Davis’s parents first realized he was missing at about 7 p.m. Thursday from the Farmington campsite. His mother had put him to sleep in the tent and noticed he was gone.

WMUR-TV reports that about 75 people from area police departments, the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department and the FBI took part in the search using K9 dogs and all-terrain vehicles. They also used a helicopter.

A Fish and Game officer found the boy asleep in a marshy area about a quarter-mile from the campsite.

The toddler was not hurt, but he was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
