THOMASTON (AP) — Maine State Police say a Thomaston insurance agent has been arrested on a charge of promotion of prostitution.

Police say Mark Strong was taken into custody on Tuesday. Police then searched Strong’s home and insurance agency offices in Thomaston.

State police say they have been assisting the Kennebunk Police Department for several months with an ongoing investigation.
