BOOTHBAY — The Boothbay Railway Village will host the 48th Antique Auto Days on Saturday and Sunday.
“This two-day event brings together antique car enthusiasts from all over New England to display their autos and trucks and participate in the annual Sunday parade through Boothbay Harbor,” a Boothbay Railway Village release states.
The museum collaborates with the Maine Obsolete Auto League (MOALS) to present the annual event. Organizers expect approximately 150 vehicles to participate.
A fundraising auction begins at 2 p.m. in the Town Hall at the Village.
Sunday includes the antique auto parade through Boothbay Harbor, starting at 1:30 p.m. The parade route will be Route 27 to Oak Street past the fire station then up Townsend Avenue and back to Route 27. Gabe Tonan will play music, and refreshments available during the event. Model T rides may also be offered in addition to the museum’s narrow gauge steam train rides.
The Boothbay Railway Village is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week during the summer. Train rides are offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
