Michael D. Allen, 68, died July 17, 2012 at Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough, with his wife and daughter by his side. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in January and fought valiantly until he could no longer fight. A family service will be private. People are welcome to come celebrate Mike’s life on Aug. 4 from 1-3 p.m. at Country Style Sheds in Shapleigh. This will be an informal gathering to share stories and have some refreshments. Eileen R. (Skeffington) Conlon, 76, of Marlborough, Mass. and formerly of Biddeford, died at home on Friday, July 20, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main St., Marlborough, Mass. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Biddeford will be held at a later date.
