ORONO – University of Maine football tickets are about to go on sale.

Fans who aren’t part of priority groups like season ticket holders, Black Bear Club members and alums can purchase tickets starting Monday.

The football program holds its media day Friday as the squad gears up for its season-opener at Boston College on Sept. 8.

The University of Maine Alumni Association is putting together a pregame party at the BC campus.

UMaine finished last season with a record of 9-4 and has been picked to finish sixth in the Colonial Athletic Association in a preseason poll by the league’s coaches.
