
Born and raised in Boston, he graduated from English High School. Sal was the brother of Joe, Lee, Ro, Doll & Gra; father of Anne, Fran, Chuck, Tom & Steve with wife Frances nee Franco (deceased); stepfather of Fred & Bud Dickey, children of his 2nd wife, Charlotte Dickey nee Gribbon (deceased). Both marriages produced loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sal was a master in the field of electro-plating, a selftaught fixer of everything, a sportsman in his early years; painter, carver, golfer & cook; a lover of family and friends who brightened his life. With a ready smile and ever-present willingness to help, he lifted the spirits of many and is irreplaceable in our hearts.
A service will be held in the chapel at Knollwood Cemetery in Canton MA, on Oct. 5 at 12:30 p.m. Donations in Sal’s name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
