FREEPORT — The 31st annual Greay Osprey 10K Ocean Run is scheduled to be held Nov. 3 at Wolfe’s Neck Park, beginning at 10 a.m.

The registration fee is $25 from Oct. 30 through Nov. 2, while preregistation fee is $20 and expires Oct. 29.

This is one of Maine’s premier 10K road races with scenery and the fresh sea air of Maine’s coast on this USTAF-approved course. Prizes are awarded to the top finishers in various age categories.

All race proceeds benefit the RCE Scholarship Fund, which allows Freeport, Durham and Pownal youth to participate in programs they may not otherwise be able to. The race will be held rain or shine. If the race is cancelled due to extreme weather conditions, refunds will not be issued. Parking is limited, so runners should arrive early.

There is also a Children’s One-Mile Fun Run for $5 and the fee includes a race keepsake.
