Working hard every day

At the beginning of this year, I launched my campaign for State House and started a conversation with Gorham families about how to build a stronger future for our town and our state. Over the course of this campaign, we held 18 house parties, knocked on more than 4,500 doors and listened to people’s cares, concerns and ideas to solve the challenges we face as a state.

Two weeks ago, you entrusted me with the great responsibility to represent your family in the Maine House, and I promise, whether you voted for me or not, that I will work hard every day for you in Augusta.

I want to thank everyone in Gorham for their well wishes and congratulations, and to my incredible supporters who lent their time, energy and credibility to me and our campaign.

I would also like to take this opportunity to mention my honorable opponent, outgoing Rep. Jane Knapp, who has served our town and state for many years. Rep. Knapp’s commitment to our town and state should be recognized and honored by all.

As we look forward to the next two years and beyond, there is no doubt that our state faces real challenges. As we debate public policy that will impact our community and shape our future, I want to hear from you. Again, my sincere thanks for placing your trust in me. I look forward to working with you, and for you, over the coming months and years.
