TORRINGTON, Conn. — Marjorie Coombs, 94, passed away on Oct. 29, 2012, at Wolcott Hall. Marjorie was the widow of Randall P. Coombs. Marjorie was born in Bowdoinham, Maine, on Feb. 26, 1918, daughter of the late Erland and Gladys (Small) Rogers.

Following retirement from the Torrington Company, Marjorie and her husband moved to Mesa, Arizonia.

She is survived by five children, Lynda Robinson and husband Richard, Donna Cappellina and husband Paul, Randall Coombs, Earland Coombs and wife Lyn, Brenda Casey and husband Tom, 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandson. She is survived by a brother Russell Rogers of Bowdoinham, Maine, and a sister Eleanor Purington of Augusta, Maine, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Marjorie’s family has requested that donations be made to: Visiting Nurse SUC of Ct., Inc., 65 Commercial Blvd., Torrington, Conn. 06790.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
