FRYEBURG — Ally Hickey scored 17 points, including a 3-pointer during a 14-4 first-quarter run, to lead Falmouth to a Western Maine Conference 59-49 girls’ basketball win Tuesday night over Fryeburg Academy.

Anna Hickey and Dayna Vasconcelos added 10 each for the Yachtsmen (2-0). Skye Dole led Fryeburg (0-2) with 23.


WINDHAM 60, NOBLE 25: Sadie Nelson scored eight points in the second period, including all six of her free throws, as Windham (1-1) outscored the Knights (0-2) 22-6 to open a 26-12 halftime lead in North Berwick.

Nelson finished with 14 points. Luisa Sbardella and Lonnie Staten scored 12 each for the Eagles.


SANFORD 66, PORTLAND 50: Samantha Adams and Heather LeBlanc scored 18 points apiece, and Morgan Fogg had 16 to lead Sanford (2-0) at Portland (0-2).

LeBlanc and Fogg each scored seven in the first quarter to help the Spartans to a 23-11 lead.

Brianna Holdren knocked down four 3-pointers on her way to 21 points for the Bulldogs.


WAYNFLETE 65, TRAIP ACADEMY 33: Martha Veroneau reached 1,001 career points, putting up all of her 11 in the first half as the Flyers (2-0) took a 40-8 lead over the Rangers (1-1) at Portland.

Kendra Kagiliery sank five 3-pointers for Traip Academy.


LAKE REGION 77, YARMOUTH 53: Kelsey Winslow scored 36 points to lead Lake Region (2-0) over the Clippers (0-2) at Yarmouth.

Cierra Hancock added 20 for the Lakers, who jumped to a 21-8 lead.

Sean Cahill led Yarmouth with 14 points.


DEERING 34, MARSHWOOD 21: Chelsea Saucier led Deering (2-0) with nine points in a home win over Marshwood (1-1).

The Rams built a 22-5 lead in the first half.


SOUTH PORTLAND 53, BIDDEFORD 38: Danica Gleason scored 16 of her 25 points in the third quarter as the Red Riots (2-0) used an 18-4 run to open a 51-29 lead against the visiting Tigers (0-2).

Carissa Gelinas scored 12 points for Biddeford.


BONNY EAGLE 56, MASSABESIC 37: Shannon Sanborn was the high scorer with 18 points as Bonny Eagle (1-1) downed Massabesic (0-2) at Standish.

Caitlyn Hawxwell added 12 points for the Scots.

Audrey Hoyle was the leading scorer for the Mustangs with 16 points. She was 10 of 15 at the line.


MONMOUTH ACADEMY 47, BOOTHBAY REGION 46: Kylie Kemp scored 18 points and Ciera Spencer added 14 as Monmouth (1-0) nipped the Seahawks (1-1) at Boothbay Harbor.


HALL-DALE 50, WISCASSET 27: Natasha Brown scored 14 points, and Allison Crockett had 10 points, 17 rebounds and five blocks for the Bulldogs (1-1), who bounced back from a 14-7 first-quarter deficit to beat the host Wolverines (1-1).


POLAND 52, WELLS 46: Michaella Arsenault scored 20 points and Emily Bolduc added 16 for the Knights (1-1), who took a 23-19 halftime lead and held off the Warriors at Wells (0-2).

Nicole Moody and Stephanie Woods combined for 22 points for Wells.


HYDE 32, ISLESBORO 21: Diamond Brown scored 15 points to lead the Phoenix (3-0) past the Eagles (2-1) at Islesboro.


MCAULEY 86, KENNEBUNK 30: McAuley (2-0) had five players in double figures in a lopsided victory over visiting Kennebunk (0-2).

Olivia Smith led the offense with 18 points.


SCARBOROUGH 60, WESTBROOK 24: Mary Redmond scored 13 points as Scarborough (2-0) routed visiting Westbrook (1-1).

The Red Storm took advantage of early turnovers to build a 32-12 halftime lead.


CAPE ELIZABETH 45, FREEPORT 33: Mary Perkins scored eight of her 10 points during the second quarter, including both her 3-pointers, as Cape Elizabeth (1-1) transformed an 11-6 deficit into a 25-20 lead over the Falcons (1-1) at Freeport.

Marlo Dell’Aquila’s 11 points led the Capers. Nina Davenport had 18 for Freeport.


GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 58, SACOPEE VALLEY 18: Haley Cote knocked down five 3-pointers and finished with 17 points to help the Patriots (2-0) down the Hawks (0-2) at South Hiram.


FOREST HILLS 45, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 11: Anna Carrier scored a game-high 15 points and Keely Taylor added 12 as the Tigers rolled to a win at Augusta.

Kori Coro added eight points for Forest Hills (3-0).
