BRUNSWICK — “Education Under Fire,” a film and panel discussion about the denial of higher education to people of the Baha’i faith in Iran, will be presented by Amnesty International and the Baha’i community at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant St.

The documentary will be followed by a panel conversation on the themes of religious discrimination and the right to public education.

The 30-minute documentary, endorsed by Amnesty International, examines the Iranian government’s denial of the right to higher education for all of the members of its largest non-Muslim religious minority — the Baha’is.

The event is free. For more information, visit www.educationunderfire.com or call 729-9520.
