REGION TEN Technical High School Food Trades students are exploring the art of building gingerbread houses as part of their Food Trades curriculum. Students researched recipes and designs before beginning construction. Dana Maloney is shown using frosting in a pastry bag to glue a marshmallow entryway onto an igloo. She chose pretzel sticks with a cinnamon candy chimney to decorate her log cabin. Upon completion, students donated their creations to local residential living facilities for the holiday season.
