PANAMA CITY, FL — Reta Lawrence Boothby, 69 of Panama City, FL passed away February 4, 2013.

She was born in Hermon, Maine, Penobscot county, December 3, 1943.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Barbara Lawrence; two brothers, Warren Lawrence junior, Allie Lawrence; sister, Aneta Clough; and husband, Zane Boothby.

She is survived by two sisters, Cleta Haywood, Tanya Lawrence; two brothers, Verne and Richard Lawrence; and dear friend, Mary Porkka of Maine.

She resided at the St. Andrews Towers Rental Apartments in Panama City and was President of the Residents Council for two terms.

She worked for the State of Maine in the mentally handicapped program as a Group Home Supervisor, and later at Cappoza Tile and Floor Co. in Portland, Maine. She came to Florida to live around September 2002 and worked for Sharp Carpet and Ceramic Tile Co. of Panama City, upon retiring.

Reta’s wishes were to be cremated and private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
