BRUNSWICK — Robert Scott Forsyth, age 58, died Thursday, January 31, 2013, at his home.

He was born July 4, 1954 in Lewiston, Maine, the son of Robert and Hulda Swift Forsyth. He married Tammy Bossie in Harpswell on January 24, 1992.

Robert was a private person who enjoyed being at home with his wife, Tammy, and his dog. He especially enjoyed watching older sitcoms, his favorites being M.A.S.H. and the Beverly Hill Billies, and the news. Though he may have kept to himself much of the time, those who knew him best were never surprised by his out-spoken nature. He often said “The more I see of some people, the better I love my dog.” He was most recently employed at Captain Mikes Restaurant, Brunswick, but had worked at Estes’ Lobster House, Bailey’s Store in Harpswell and at the Coastal Humane Society, Brunswick.

He is survived by wife, Tammy (Bossie) Forsyth of Brunswick; a sister, Cindy Forsyth of Harpswell.

At the family’s request, services will be private. Condolences and memories can be expressed at www.brackettfuneralhome.com.
