FORT WORTH, TX — Charles B. “Chuck” Doyle passed peacefully into the everlasting arms of our Lord on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, in Fort Worth.

A memorial service was at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Biggers Funeral Home. A celebration of Chuck’s life was held at Boo-Ray’s Restaurant, 7255 Boat Club Road, Fort Worth.

Chuck Doyle was born Dec. 6, 1934, to Charles B. Doyle and Charlotte Farnham Doyle of Bath, Maine. Chuck graduated from Morse High School in Bath, Maine, Rollins College in Florida and the University of Mississippi Law School.

Chuck was a very generous man who was always willing to help out a friend or family member. He loved having his children and grandchildren at holiday events and family gatherings. He enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Maine, playing golf and bridge, and entertaining friends and family. Chuck retired from State Farm Insurance and was also a member of Polar Star Lodge #114 in Bath, Maine.

Chuck married the love of his life, Jackie, 28 years ago on Valentine’s Day. They adored and treasured each other until the end.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to all of the employees at Boo- Ray’s for making Chuck’s last years so enjoyable for him. They would also like to thank Avalon Residential Care Home and Gardendale Hospice for providing such loving care.

Survivors: He was loved by his sons, Chip and Chris, and Chris’ wife, Melody; he was also deeply loved and cared for by his stepchildren of Fort Worth, TX, Melinda Burke and her husband, Brett Bonne, Melody and Trey Harlin, and Martha and Daniel Villeneuve; and from Arkansas, Mack and Kim Burke; he was known as “Grandad” to his grandchildren, Colby, Canon and Gillian Doyle, Mack Burke IV, Mackenzie Harlin, Mackayla Burke, Sarah Boone, Maria Boone, Macy Villeneuve, Macksimus Burke and Mackimlee Burke; he will be greatly missed by his sister and brother-in-law, Nancy “Ginger” and Larry Garside of Bath, Maine; and his brothers in-law and their wives, Britt and Betty Schubert, and Orien and Shirley Browning.
