PORTLAND — Perley E. Anderson, 81, of Yarmouth, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Mercy Hospital.

Perley was born in Portland, on December 7, 1931; he grew up in Yarmouth and graduated from North Yarmouth Academy. He was a very active person. Perley was employed by Burnham and Morrill Co. for a number of years and then by his brother in law, Donald Hale as an exterior sider.

In addition to other hobbies, Perley collected and repaired pinball machines and jukeboxes in his spare time.

Perley is survived by his brother in law Donald Hale and his nieces and nephews, Donny, Janey, Carolyn, Debbie, and Susan. In addition, he is survived by his aunt Rose Fortin and her children and other cousins.

Perley was also fond of his step daughter, Saralyn.

Spring burial in Riverside Cemetery, Yarmouth.
