Viviane Marie Llewellyn Carter passed early Sunday, March 31, 2013 with her loving husband by her side. She had been fighting bone marrow cancer since June 2012.

Viviane was born on July 4, 1948, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. After attending the University of Georgia she worked for IBM for seventeen years. Viviane came to Maine to be close to her young disabled son, Christopher, who passed September 11, 2008.

Viviane lived in many places throughout the state but most recently close to her daughter in Lisbon Falls, Maine. While living in Maine, Viviane co-owned two restaurants Thai Place in Brunswick and The Cribstone Bridge on Bailey Island. Later she became a realestate agent and Broker. Her husband Robert Kelly Carter of Indiana, daughter Danielle Marie Bock and son-in-law Phillip Michael Bock of Lisbon Falls, Maine will miss her greatly along with her many friends. Viviane was a loving wife, mother and friend. She had a generous spirit that made the world a better place to live in.

There will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
