NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — Friday’s Sea Dogs game against the New Britain Rock Cats in New Britain, Conn., scheduled to start at 11:05 a.m., has been postponed due to rain. No make-up date has yet been set.

The Sea Dogs and Rock Cats are slated to resume the series on Saturday at 6:35 p.m. at  New Britain Stadium. Right-handed pitcher Kyle Kaminska (0-1) will get the start for Portland.  New Britain will send righty Alex Meyer (0-0) to the hill.

The Sea Dogs will return to Hadlock Field on Thursday for a seven-game homestand.
