Writer and editor Dawn Potter will speak about her new book, “A Poet’s Sorcebook,” at the Portland Public Library’s next Brown Bag Luncheon, celebrating Poetry Month. Potter’s latest collection of written works focuses on the poetry of both ancient and contemporary writers, including Homer, Plato, Aristotle, William Shakespeare, William Wordsworth, John Keats, Edgar Allan Poe, Frederick Douglass, Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, Ezra Pound, Philip Levine, Adrienne Rich, Gary Snyder and Rita Dove.
