CAELIE SMITH

CAELIE SMITH

Caelie Smith, the advertising sales representative for Bath since 1997, has been promoted to Special Projects director at The Times Record, effective today.

Smith, who has been an employee at The Times Record since 1987, has served in numerous roles throughout her career at the newspaper. She was originally hired by Advertising Director Marie Almy as an inside sales representative.

In her new role, Smith will continue to call on Bath advertising clients, but will expand her role into surrounding communities as The Times Record looks to add quarterly publications to its portfolio. She will also take on some internal duties to aid workflow in the advertising department, fill in for people on vacations, and serve as a liaison between advertising and the editorial department, said Times Record Publisher and Advertising Director Larry Hubner.

Lisa Lajoie, who has served as an advertising representative at The Times Record since August, will replace Smith in her territory. Lajoie’s territory currently includes Portland, Freeport, Harpswell and Woolwich.
