ELLSWORTH — Sonya Mitchell, program manager and VP/financial consultant with Bar Harbor Financial Services, recently received her CRPC designation.

According to a news release, the professional designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor is awarded by the College for Financial Planning to individuals who complete a study program and pass a final exam.

Mitchell has been a financial consultant working at Bar Harbor Financial Services for more than 10 years. She helps clients throughout the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust branch network craft creative financial solutions to meet their needs and maximize their returns.
