WINDHAM – Windham beat visiting Thornton Academy 7-4 Tuesday afternoon, the sixth-straight win for the Eagles, who are now 6-1. Thornton falls to 2-5 on the season.

Windham’s Shawn Francoeur pitched six innings for the win, with Jeff Francoeur getting the save. Thornton’s Jeff Gelinas took the loss for the Trojans, who outhit the Eagles 12-6 but committed two errors.

Windham was set to host South Portland on Wednesday, after the Lakes Region Weekly’s deadline, before going to Kennebunk at 4 p.m. on Friday.
