Author Gail Anne Rowe will talk about the challenges of growing up in rural Maine as one of 15 family members in a four-room home, as detailed in her book, “The Roots of a Family.” The work describes the character and fabric of hard-working people in Maine during the 1930s, ’40s and ’50s. Refreshments will be served.
