FREEPORT

Every woman. Any bike. One ride.

The Bicycle Coalition of Maine is conducting a Women’s Ride event celebrating women and bicycling tomorrow.

According to a news release, the event offers a friendly, supportive atmosphere geared toward girls and women of all ages and abilities.  The ride follows quiet roads, offering beautiful views of the Maine coast and countryside.

More than 500 women and girls will participate in the Bicycle Coalition of Maine’s 12th Annual Women’s Ride.  The four routes — of 10, 25, 50 and 75 miles — pass through Brunswick, Pownal, Durham, Yarmouth, North Yarmouth and New Gloucester.

After the ride, participants will celebrate with free food, massage and yoga.
