THE INDEPENDENCE ASSOCIATION in Brunswick, Maine, participated in its second annual Pretty in Pink campaign. The campaign serves to remind staff and the people they serve that the best way to treat breast cancer is through early detection. Staff and individuals served wore pink every Friday and raised more than $250 of which half will be donated to the Maine Breast Cancer Coalition.
