WASHINGTON (AP) — The top House Democrat says Democratic lawmakers agree that the troubled rollout of the health care law must be fixed. She says they will have a proposal for the House to vote today.

California Democrat Nancy Pelosi spoke to reporters Thursday shortly before President Barack Obama planned to unveil a plan for letting insurers who have canceled coverage for millions of customers to continue the coverage.

Pelosi says Obama will propose administrative changes to the health care law. She said Democrats will propose legislation making changes, though she conceded the Republican led House will likely defeat it.

Democrats have been worried about the law’s problems. Pelosi says that by today, things will be under control.

The House plans to vote today on a GOP bill restoring coverage.
