MADISON, Wis. — Nik Stauskus scored 23 points and hit a key 3-pointer with 48 seconds left as Michigan fended off a late surge for a 77-70 win Saturday over No. 3 Wisconsin.

Caris LeVert added 20 for the Wolverines (13-4, 5-0 Big Ten), who held on for their first road win at Wisconsin since 1999 after nearly squandering a 15-point lead.

The Badgers (16-2, 3-2) went on a 14-2 run late, and Ben Brust’s putback got them within 68-67 with 2 minutes left.

After whiffing on a 3 from the right wing, Stauskus hit a step-back 3-pointer from the left side to give Michigan a 71-67 lead.

(5) WICHITA STATE 68, INDIANA STATE 48: Ron Baker scored 16 points and the Shockers (19-0, 6-0 Missouri Valley) remained unbeaten with an impressive win over Indiana State (14-4, 5-1).

(6) VILLANOVA 88, DEPAUL 62: James Bell had 17 points and eight rebounds, and the Wildcats (16-1, 5-0 Big East) won their fifth straight game.

The host Blue Demons fell to 10-9 and 2-4.

(7) FLORIDA 68, AUBURN 61: Casey Prather scored 21 points in his return from a knee injury and helped Florida survive a scare at Auburn.

The Gators (15-2, 4-0 SEC) have won eight in a row at Auburn (8-7, 0-4).

TEXAS 86, (8) IOWA STATE 76: Jonathan Holmes scored 23 points to lead host Texas (14-4, 3-2) over Iowa State (14-3, 2-3), sending the Cyclones to their third consecutive loss.

(10) SAN DIEGO STATE 63, UNLV 52: Xavier Thames scored 18 points for host San Diego State (16-1, 5-0 Mountain West), which used a 19-2 first-half run to beat UNLV (11-7, 2-3).

(15) KANSAS 80, OKLAHOMA STATE 78: Naadir Tharpe scored 21 points for host Kansas (13-4, 4-0 Big 12), and Frank Mason stripped Oklahoma State’s Le’Bryan Nash at the buzzer to preserve a win over the Cowboys (15-3, 3-2).

(21) COLORADO 83, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 62: Josh Scott scored 20 points and host Colorado (15-4, 4-2 Pac-12) sent Southern Cal (9-9, 0-5) to a fifth consecutive loss.

(25) OKLAHOMA 66, (12) BAYLOR 64: Buddy Hield scored all 19 of his points after halftime for Oklahoma (14-4, 3-2 Big 12), which surged late against Baylor (13-4, 1-3).

(23) DUKE 95, N.C. STATE 60: Freshman Jabari Parker had 23 points and host Duke (14-4, 3-2 ACC) scored 33 points off turnovers against North Carolina State (11-7, 1-4).

(24) ST. LOUIS 70, FORDHAM 48: Dwayne Evans had 21 points and 10 rebounds, leading host Saint Louis (17-2, 4-0 Atlantic 10) past the Rams (7-10, 0-4).

UTAH 74, (25) UCLA 69: Jordan Loveridge scored 17 points as host Utah (14-4, 3-3 Pac-12) surprised UCLA (14-4, 3-2).
