Two people were killed in a crash in the commercial district of Waldoboro and traffic on a section of Route 1 has been disrupted, state police said Friday afternoon.

Waldoboro police are investigating.

In a separate incident, a woman has been killed in a one-car crash in Vassalboro on Friday afternoon on Stone Road.

Aundria St. Amand of South China was 18 years old.

A team of Maine State Police troopers are at the crash site investigating and said the woman’s vehicle went off the road on a curve and slammed into a tree.
