The follicles went flying Sunday to support childhood cancer research. A St. Baldrick’s Foundation event at the South Portland Jimmy the Greek’s aimed to raise $10,000 for childhood cancer research. Thirteen participants registered online and raised money for the event.

The St. Baldrick’s organization held its first event in New York City in 2000 and has donated over $100 million in research grant funding. Learn more at www.stbaldricks.org.
