ELLSWORTH – A Maine utility says a power outage that cut electricity to more than 4,200 Hancock County customers on Tuesday night has been resolved.
Emera Maine reports that 4,293 customers lost power in Ellsworth, Otis, Mariaville, Amherst and Waltham on Tuesday night. A spokesman for the utility says power has been restored. The spokesman says the cause of the outages was not determined.
Emera Maine asks customers to report future outages by calling 207-973-2020 or 855-363-7211.
