Several York County agencies investigated what they called a “potential hazmat situation” in Shapleigh on Saturday afternoon, WCSH-TV reported.

During the investigation, Route 11 was closed near Shapleigh Corner for about two hours, Channel 6 said.

York County Hazmat tested a powder that was found on a Red Box DVD. The DVD was in a vehicle, and authorities tested powder that was found both in the vehicle and on the DVD.

All tests came back negative for hazardous or toxic substances, the Portland TV station reported.
